Meizu's sales spike up by 50% - ships 1.5 million handsets in January alone 
Meizu, a China-based manufacturer, has been making waves – steadily growing in popularity over the past year, the company has started to slowly make a name for itself in western markets as well. Its recepie for success is pretty similar to the slightly more famous Xiaomi – offer flagship hardware at a fraction of the cost.
