Judge in India extends Xiaomi's rights to sell Snapdragon powered phones in the country Back in December, Ericsson accused Xiaomi of infringing on eight of its standard-essential patents in India. These patents covered 3G, EDGE, and AMR (adaptive multi-rate) technologies. The Delhi High Court ruled that through February 5th, only those Xiaomi handsets powered by Qualcomm processors could be imported into the country.
